David Bruce Smith’s next book will be a children’s book titled, “John Marshall: The Forgotten Founding Father.” John Marshall was the most important chief justice in American history, but the general public has largely overlooked his accomplishments. The book will feature drawings by Clarice Smith. It is intended for elementary school aged children and is one of several new works commissioned by the John Marshall Foundation in Richmond, VA as part of the Justice in the Classroom Program, designed to raise the awareness and appreciation of the Chief Justice and one of the Nation’s Founding Fathers. The book will be published this year by Brandylane Publishers.
